The highly elaborate case surmounted by a foliate myrtle arch (some minor losses to the top section) over a seated woman seated next to a caged dove whilst tending a fire, on a concave sided swagged plinth decorated with seated figures and winged putti, on toupie feet, the signed 8.5cms white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with pointed gilt hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and suspension adjustment screw with outside countwheel striking on a bell, running (but not currently striking). Together with a silk suspension pendulum. 45cms (17 1/2ins) high
