Surmounted by a facetted handle, the pediment centred on a Classical mask over stiff leaf moulding and side panels cast with lyres, on a plinth base with lion's paw feet, the signed 9.5cm enamel Arabic dial with moon hands and tapered alarm setting hand, the three train spring barrel movement with an underslung lever escapement with monobalance, the finely executed and complex strike and repeat work mounted on the numbered circular backplate. Together with an associated mahogany veneered travelling case with key, and an associated clock winding key. 22cms high
