PERSIAN TABRIZ WOOL, CARPET, EARLY 20TH. C. W 10', L 12'7" Having a very dark red ground that is almost magenta in color with a Prussian blue border and an overall floral motif. Very rich colors.
Condition Report: The rug does not have any fringe, these edges, each have an old secure stitch that has noticeable wear. Parts of the guard border have worn away although the wear has not cut into the first border. The serged edges have noticeable wear and have cut into the guard areas along the side of the carpet, but not into the 1st border. There are some areas with noticeable wear to the pile. TW 3-4-20
