TO FRANCE CARRIED BY PSNC STEAMER "BOLIVIA"; Fine June 1858 E from Tacna to France endorsed "Via Panama & Southampton" with wide to hugely margined Peru 1st-Issue 1d Blue with large part adjacent stamp attached (used for the 1d internal rate) tied (indented) by a superb oval dotted "TACNA" cancel and also by a very fine British PO transit "ARICA" double-arcs cds. Carried by the PSNC S.S. 'Bolivia' to Panama and then on to G.B. and France, and so also having a very fine London transit hexagon-boxed "GB/2F875/10c" Accountancy Mark on the front, charged "12" (decimes).
