[PESTE - MILANO] - Lotto di 9 grida di Sanità . Milan: Malatesta, 1631-1671.

A collection of Milanese "grida" against the plague that trace the various epidemics that occurred in the 17th-century starting from a "Bando delle città di Venezia Padova e Piacenza per causa di Peste" of May 20, 1631, or the period of the unfortunate Manzonian plague. Particularly topical are the cries on the "bollette di sanità " (health bills), real certificates attesting the good health or the safe origin of goods and people to allow movement between states. Interesting lot, unfortunately current, which sheds light on the methods of preventing the spread of pandemics in the early modern age.

Lotto di grida milanesi contro la peste che ripercorrono le varie epidemie intercorse nel XVII secolo a partire da un "Bando delle città di Venezia Padova e Piacenza per causa di Peste" del 20 Maggio 1631, ovvero del periodo dell'infausta peste manzoniana. Di particolare attualità sono le grida sulle "bollette di sanità " ossia veri e propri certificati che attestavano la buona salute o la provenienza sicura di merci e persone per permettere la circolazione tra stati. Interessante lotto, purtroppo attuale, che getta luce sulle modalità di prevenzione del dilagare delle pandemie nella prima età moderna.
