signed and dated July 1967 on the reverse
acrylic on canvas
118 by 213.5cm.; 46½ by 84in.

The canvas appears to be original and undulates slightly. There are stretcher bar marks to the extreme edges with associated fine lines of cracking. There is a dent to the orange rectangle with associated concentric fine lines of craquelure. There are scattered lines of craquelure to the work, including to the centre, the grey, the lower left quadrant, and towards the extreme edges, with further instances elsewhere. There are some minor associated instances of lifting to these areas of craquelure. There are some faint scuffs to the work. There is light dirt and a few small instances of studio matter to the surface matter of the work.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals an instance of fluorescence and possible historic retouching towards the centre of the lower edge edge, with a line extending left.
