PETIZON - VASE

Very characteristic Art Deco vase of shiny embossed tin. It is a large ovoid vase with three floors. The unitary production makes it a unique piece requiring a great job of embossing, hammering and engraving of metal. The shine of the metal perfectly highlights the quality of the work. The decorations are geometric lines, very characteristic of Art Deco and stylized flowers. The artist's signature is on the base. The bottom is hallmarked Étain Artistique. A true dynasty of artists who sculpted tin. They began to sculpt Art Nouveau works in tin casting and then progressed to Art Deco pieces in embossed tin.
