Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Wax lined. The surface presents well with fresh, vivid colors. There is extremely faint, nearly invisible fine craquelure. Under UV: there is an uneven fluorescing green varnish, of which some areas of the work appear to have been cleaned. There are isolated areas of finely applied inpainting to address prior craquelure. There is a small circular repair and a small vertical repair in the red curtain at upper left. An approximately 3 inch area of fine inpainting on the maid's proper left shoulder. Possible areas of fine strengthening on the pink flower; the maid's skirt at lower left; and the red fabric at lower right.
