This eighteenth century band sampler has motifs at the bottom that are unique to samplers made at Mary Zeller's school in Philadelphia.

Maria born 1778-9 was the daughter of Christian Gally and Anne Margarethe and was married on 9 Aug. 1798 to Johann Heinrich Donart at the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting.

Note the colors and condition are fine but there is a triangular hole half way up on the left side.
