CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The bark finish case is in good condition with slight discoloration to the front near 6 o'clock. The case back is in good condition. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The hallmarks to the inside of the case back are crisp. The case back, front cover, and movement all have the number "23" engraved to them. The inside of the case back shows evidence of being opened at 2 o'clock. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. There is a small yellow discoloration spot on the dial below the "P" in Piaget. The 3 o'clock hour marker appears to have a small blemish to it. The hour hand has developed a light patina. The minute hand appears to be a later replacement. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
