PROVENANCE
Private collection, 1970s
Thence by descent in the family

CONDITION
Observed in frame, the painting appears in age-appropriate condition. A visible slight waviness to the sheet. Three tears visible to the naked eye, two to the lower right corner, and one to the upper left corner, largest measuring 3.18 cm (1 1/4 in.) in length. A small pin hole visible to the left lower edge. All consistent with age. Inspection under UV light shows no sign of restoration.
