POSSIBLY MING OR LATER BRONZE CENSER COVER 铜香炉
A heavy square-form bronze cast censer. The censer raised on four mask feet and applied with twin dragon-scroll handles. The body moulded with archaistic bands of stylised dragons, lappets and flower scroll and the cover having a finial shaped as a lion. One handle is missing. Measures approx. 17cm tall, weight 1400g.
Provenance: acquired in England by the current owner in the 1990s.
