[ translate ]

Post World War One grouping identified to Edgar A. Carpenter, United States Marine Corps. The centerpiece of this group is his 1912 pattern bell crown dress blue cap which is accompanied by two photographs of Carpenter in uniform and an "in memory" certificate from President Ronald Regan. The cap is in overall very good condition. There are no holes; just a few small spots of surface moth tracking that have not penetrated the body. The leather sweatband is complete with no damage but is partially detached. The brown leather visor is sold with very minor wear. The photographs include an 8" x 10" formal view of Carpenter in his dress uniform, a small photo in his fatigues, and finally a photograph of him wearing a baseball uniform with the team name WACO across the front.
