French, 17th century with possible later elements. Pair of Louis XIV baroque walnut foot stools or taborets, having Brunschwig & Fils floral upholstery with tassel trim, and rising on turned legs with stretcher. Unmarked. Approx. of one, h. 19.5", sq. 13.75".
Condition Report: No apparent stains or tears to upholstery; previous restorations; some wear to surface with previous worming (inactive); frames are structurally sound.
