Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, JiaQing wucai bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with a straight opening lip, four side concave ruyi form mouth rim, raised on a small round, with concave footing. The exterior decorated by applying of wucai design color, a variety of five-colored pigments creates bold opaque hand-painting of square geometric pattern with auspicious motief in vivid tones colors, enclosed with repeating taotie mask and petals. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. Mark on under base, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, JiaQing Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
