Pair of likely American or British Victorian era white Carrara marble architectural elements, third quarter 19th century, now mounted as lamps, crafted from corbels from a Renaissance Revival mantel, each having pine cone and acanthus detail with curved volutes, on a later gilded base, apparently unmarked.
Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Dickey Family, Atlanta, Georgia.
Approximate dimensions: overall h. 23", w. 7.5", d. 8.5"; corbel h. 10".
Condition Report: Discolored areas due to age with surface ships, intentional distressed gilded bases, both tested as working.
