PRE-1828 SCOTTISH BROADSWORD BASKET HILT CLAYMORE
Late 17th early 18th century traditional Scottish highland claymore pierced basket hilted broadsword. Steel basket hilt decorated with traditional pierced heart pattern of the late 17th and early 18th century. Blade bears single edge and is marked with stamped marking near ricasso which is now faintly visible. Wire wrapped black leather handle.
