PRE WAR COLT OFFICERS MODEL .22 TARGET REVOLVER

SERIAL 16298. BARREL 6". CALIBER .22 RIMFIRE. MADE IN 1937. Finding a pre war Officers Model in .22 rimfire is not an easy task, especially if you are also condition minded. The action of any Officers Model is hand fitted and finished and would be impossible to produce today due to cost. In addition, it features the Colt target front sight, flat top frame with adjustable target rear sight, hand checkered back strap and trigger with factory blue finish and silver medallion checkered walnut grips. There is some high edge wear on cylinder with light line. There is a hint of wear at muzzle but gun still retains at least 98% original factory blue finish. The legends are sharp as new. Gun indexes like a Swiss watch. The bore is near mint. The grips are sharp with light handling wear. Beautiful pre war target .22 Colt. C&R*
