PRE WAR RS US COLT ARMY MODEL 1911-A1 PISTOL

SERIAL 744206. BARREL 5". CALIBER .45 ACP. MADE IN 1941. This is a pre Pearl Harbor made gun with the Robert Sears inspector stamp on frame (RS) with all standard features to include the correct period military parkerized finish with temper line on slide , short checkered trigger, beveled edge square notch rear sight, short checkered wide spur hammer, serrated slide stop with checkered slide lock. Grips are standard brown WWII Keyes type. Gun retains about 85% finish with high edge wear and some minor handling marks. Has proper US legends. Bore is sharp. Grips are excellent. Any pre Pearl Harbor Colt 1911-A1 is hard to find, especially in nice condition as not many were made before we went to war. C&R*
