PRE WAR WESTERN FIELD SLIDE ACTION SHOTGUN

SERIAL 69580. BARREL 28". BORE 12. CHOKE -POLY. CHAMBER 2 3/4". LOP 13 3/4". This is stamped Browning patent and was built by Stevens for Montgomery Wards. It is basically a Model 520. Left side of frame has a pointer engraving. It is a take down model and the type used by the Army during the war. Features checkered pistol grip stock with old JC Higgins pad. Wood has been refinished and slightly shy to metal. Metal retains at least 85% blue that shows scattered age freckling. Action and bore are fine. C&R
