PRESSED ACANTHUS LEAF WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, brilliant Canary and colorless, each small size having a dome-top font with 12 protruding petals below the shoulder and a short hexagonal extension with 12 beads below, raised on a 12-petal-top acanthus leaf standard and double-step square base beaded between the steps, wafer construction, brass fine-line collars. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1860. 11 1/2" H, 4" SQ base.
Good to very good condition with each having scattered chipping to the bases, including a sizeable chip to one base corner of the Canary example.
