Cotton warp and weft, wool velour. The carpet is adorned with a central polychrome, multi-lobed medallion, flanked by two pendants, set against a red background decorated with flowering trees, birds and animals. The whole is embellished with four ivory-coloured spandrels. A navy blue border featuring polychrome floral motifs frames the composition.
