Provencal printed cotton hooded cloak, wide shirred panels applied to borders, based on form of Colonial cardinal cloak, printed black floral & bark motif on copper ground, lining of resist printed dark blue & chrome orange, c. 1800-1840, (some tiny-0.5” holes, several tiny-1.25” tears, 4” repair lower back LF hood, few wear spots up to 0.25”, shattering ruffles esp. hem, few tiny areas white residue) Very Good
