PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY OFFICER'S GROSSE ENGRAVED SWORD

Imperial German Officer's sword with a single fuller blade is about 31 1/2 inches long. Blade is in very good condition. Triple engraved with standard motifs with standards pikes and shields along with floral patterns. Nice patina to the brass fitting. Black painted scabbard with single hanger as used after 1905. Scabbard retains about 70% paint. The lion head pommel still retains the red ruby eyes and on the P guard is has a side profile of the Kaiser. Overall a very attractive grouse sword.
