American, attributed to Ezra Wood (Massachusetts, 1798-1841). Cut paper, watercolor, and ink of a young boy in formal navy-blue waistcoat, yellow vest, white necktie with blue pin; with one hand in a pants pocket and the other holding a book inscribed, "Aged 12 1830". Condition Report: Toning. Behind is a piece of laid paper painted black, but also with the silhouette of the head, and then further behind is a black cloth on board. Generally in very good condition. See additional photos.
