Der Kannenkorpus im balustrierten Porphyr geschnitten, mit profilierter Schulter. Die Montierung in ziselierter und vergoldeter Bronze, den Geschmack um 1740/50 entsprechend. Mit ziseliertem Blattwerk und ausgestalteten Rohrkolben.

A pair of decorative jugs

Height: 35 cm.
France, mid of 18th century.

The body of the jug is cut from porphyry, with a profiled shoulder. Chased and gilt-bronze mounts, corresponding to the contemporary taste around 1740/50. With chased foliage and decorated cattails.
