Pablo Picasso engraved this faun in a beach pebble he had found on the beach of Golfe-Juan. He donated this one and others to his friend the photographer Michel Sima, a pseudonym for Michal Smajewski (1912-1987).
With certificate by Maya Wiedmeyer Picasso, the artist's daughter (Paris 5-2-2009)
