Executed circa 1902-05.

Condition Report:
Executed on buff wove paper and hinged to the mount at two places along the upper edge of the verso. Artist's pinholes in all four corners. The sheet is toned, and there is uneven discoloration along the perimeter. Some scattered foxing, mostly in the right half of the composition. One ½-inch area of loss to the sheet along the upper right edge, not visible when framed. One 1-cm repaired tear in the lower right quadrant, extending from the lower edge. One minor flattened crease in the lower left corner. Remnants of an old adhesive on the verso. The work is in good condition.

The Picasso Administration has confirmed the date of this work is circa 1902-05.
