Carved and Painted Wood Santos of St. Anthony of Padua

18th century, probably Italian, with a carefully carved face and hands, the face with glass eyes, dressed in a white cassock with a black shawl.

Condition Report: In overall good condition. There is a loss to the left edge of the hood and a shrinkage crack to the back of the right shoulder, as well as scattered nicks, scratches and losses to pigment and gesso. There is a protruding nail to the chest and to the back. Back has additional nail holes and a few wormholes. Condition is as to be expected with age and use.
