Oil on masonite painting by Andre Charles Desboeuf (French 20th century), possibly Joan of Arc,signed 'Desboeuf 1957' lower right and on the reverse.

The painting measures 31 inches x 39 inches in a frame 40 inches x 47 inches.

Davids notes: very few paintings exist by this unusual artist of the mid 20th century, whose style was unique and futuristic. Although we do not see an image of of the famous French martyr in the painting, the words Joan of Arc are written on the back of the Masonite board.
Condition Report: Good condition overall
