This antique portable tôle lamps are stamped Made in France, impressed on the gilded metal base, on verso. Child putti porcelain figural on porcelain stand surrounded by gilt metal floral branch curving on backside with carefully carved porcelain flowers perched on the branch. Wired through the branch. Terminate in large gilt brass hugging the light fixture. One porcelain figurine has been repaired & has wear consistent with age, use and exposure. Delicate, a flower may be loose on tole wire. Undersides are trademarked in blue ink under glaze ‘ YZ’ in horizontal diamond shape under a royal crown’. Possibly French Severe. 9.5 in ht. 6 in. Width.
