Pair Antique Bronze Relief Plaques
DESCRIPTION: Pair of antique bronze plaques, one depicting relief winter scene of puttos building a fire, with Artemis in the background, the other depicting a relief spring or summer scene of Ceres and puttos. Each mounted in a wooden frame.
CIRCA: Late 19th - early 20th century

DIMENSIONS: (Plaque) H: 10" W: 7" (Frame) H: 13.75" W: 10.75" Depth: 1.75"
CONDITION: Patina wear to spring/summer scene. Some minor patina wear to winter scene. Both plaques have spots of minor oxidation. Gilt gesso borders have minor hairline cracks, chips, and losses. The frame for the winter scene has minor losses to veneer. Both frames have minor indentations to wood.
