Pair Antique Sino-Islamic Cloisonne Vases

DESCRIPTION: Pair of antique Sino-Islamic export cloisonne vases for the Islamic market, each featuring tetradecagon (14-sided) body, gilt bronze dragon masks, polychrome floral and foliage motifs, and calligraphic motifs.
CIRCA: 19th century, possibly older
ORIGIN: Chinese
DIMENSIONS: H: 10" W: 5" L: 5.25"
CONDITION: One vase has minor repairs to underside of body, one one very minor repair to one side of body, and a very minor spot of enamel loss at the joining point of one handle. The other vase has some enamel loss inside of one dragon's mouth, and some minor hairline cracks to enamel at rim. Both vases have minor gilt loss and other wear to gilding, consistent with age and use.
