Pair Early Chinese Cinnabar Vases
Circa 1800-1850, beautifully carved baluster form with scenes of scholars and students in garden setting, 6" diameter x 12 1/2" high, includes black glazed ceramic bases, 6" diameter x 3" high. Condition both with some flaking of interior at lip and base, one with short crack and small loss of cinnabar on body, vert worthy of restoration.
