Pair Mid Century Paul McCobb 1535 Style Bentwood Chair. This is a pair of Paul McCobb's iconic 1535 Style Bentwood Dining Chairs. This design was Paul McCobb for the manufacturer Wichendon. Each features a cast iron frame and a bentwood shield seat back out of walnut. They seem to have been reupholstered in a lovely sage green fabric. These quintessential pieces of Mid-century Modern design will have you sitting pretty.

Dimensions are 28.25 in h x 15.75 in w x 16 in d. Seat height is 16.5 in. Condition is fair to good. The upholstery is somewhat faded and has paint stains. There is wear to both the metal and wood, both of which also have paint stains. On the seat back of one chair, there are cracks on the right side, and the frame is coming a bit loose on the left.
