Pair Of Antique Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Phoenixes

DESCRIPTION: Two matching famille rose porcelain fenghuang ("Chinese phoenix") sculptures, each depicting the legendary bird perched atop a flower-laden rock: one looking to its left, one to its right. Each piece features highly detailed featuring on neck, back, and wings and is crowned with a bright red crest. Rocks feature holes for further decoration. Christie's and New Orleans Auction Gallery Inc. stickers present on underside of each.
