Pair Of Crystal, Carrara Marble & Ormolu Girandoles - Russian Or Swedish - 19th century

A beautiful pair of 19th century Empire Swedish or Russian girandole candelabra, comprising of Carrara marble, ormolu and crystal. The girandoles have been completed in the neoclassical style and date to the 19th century. Each girandole featuring a royal blue glass vase issuing two curved ormolu candle branches draped in clear cut crystals. Each branch with an ormolu candle socket and royal blue drip pans with castellated rims. The centre issuing two tiers of slender sprays hung with multi-faceted oval shaped cut glass pendants; the pair raised and mounted on a square Carrara marble base. Due to their high led content, once the sunlight / light hits the girandoles, the crystal drops reflect the colours of the rainbow throughout the room. Condition: Overall, the pair are in excellent condition for their age and usage. The pair display very well, the marble is in very good condition and the ormolu retains a very good colour.
