An exceptional pair of Victorian Silver Wine Coasters. These Coasters are of particularly good quality and very heavy weight. These excellent Antique sterling Silver Coasters feature a classic bellied design embellished with a chased floral and foliate design repeated around the sides. The Coasters have ornate applied rims and feature an engraved floral and foliate design surrounding an engraved armorial. The coasters have sterling silver sides and base, mounted on a wooden base with a deep red leather insert.
Made in London in 1839 by John & Joseph Angell.
Approx. Diameter - 16.8cm
Approx. Height - 4.9cm
Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on each.
These coasters are in excellent condition with no damage.
