Pair of Blue-Wing Teal by Bob Hand, Sag Harbor, N.Y. This pair of decorative Teal represents Bob Hand as one of the most collected of all the Long Island carvers. He was one of the first to carve both decorative and working decoys. His birds were continually winning ribbons at the National Carvers Competitions. In excellent condition, signed and dated on bottom 1988 (hen) and 1987 (drake).
