Pair of Chinese Enamel Gu Vases, 18-19th Century
A pair of Chinese enameled gu vases dating from the 18th or 19th century. The bodies feature a blue ground with bats and lotus tracery as well as bands of ruyi and stylized leaves.
Dimensions are: 14 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 35.6 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There are large, severe, widespread areas of repair and damage which include chipping, cracks, and areas of loss.
Provenance: From a private Philadelphia, Pennsylvania collection.
