Pair of Chinese Enameled Boxes, 19th Century
A pair of Chinese round enameled boxes with 4-character marks of Qianlong but dating from the 19th century. Both feature landscape scenes with figures surrounded by auspicious symbols.
Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 8 3/4 inches wide, 17.8 cm X 22.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Significant breakage and cracking to both.
Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
