Cataloger Note: Pair of large Chinese porcelain ginger jars of ovoid form, decorated in a vibrant polychrome palette inspired by Japanese Imari and Chinese Famille Verte export wares. Each jar features elaborate floral and decorative motifs and is fitted with a dark-toned carved openwork lid embellished with scrolling ornament and a turned finial.
