Pair of Chinese Jadeite Vases, 19th Century
A pair of Chinese jadeite lidded vases dating from the 19th century with metal stands. The sides and finials of the vases are carved with flowering branches.
Dimensions are: the vase measures 5 1/4 inches tall X 3 inches wide, 13.3 cm X 7.6 cm, while the vase with the stand measures 8 3/4 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide, 22.2 cm X 8.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: One vase has two areas of repair to the branches and loss to the metal stand. Both have small areas of chipping throughout.
Provenance: From a private New York City collection.
