Pair of Chinese Pink Ground Bowls, Republic Period
A pair of Chinese pink ground bowls. Both have two 5-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Both have a 4-character mark on the bottom.
Dimensions are: 2 inches tall X 4 inches diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson. Items from the same collector were sold at our September Fine Asian Art & Antiques auctions, 2019.
