Pair of Chinese Spotted Bamboo Armchairs

Pair of 19th c. Chinese bamboo arm chairs. Each in the popular square form with geometric decorations filling the square backs. The arms are made of straight bamboo which has been split to enable turning it around a wood block providing a gentle transition. Excellent overall craftsmanship.
