Pair of Chinese White Jade Buckles, 18th Century
A pair of Chinese white jade belt buckles dating from the 18th century. The buckles have a jade dragon hook on 1 and both are carved with Chilong with lingzhi.
Dimensions are: 1 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a chip in the side of 1 Chilong.
Provenance: From Mr. & Mrs. Yuen in Minnesota. Mrs. Yuen's father, Chen Kangjue, operated an antiques shop in Yan'an Road, Shanghai from 1940 to 1966. This collection was returned to Mr. Chen Kangjue and then brought back to the United States with his descendants 30 years ago.
