Pair of Chinese Yixing Zisha Vases, Republic

A pair of Chinese Yixing Zisha vases dating from the Republic period. Each has an inscription to the neck and 4 seal marks to the body.

Dimensions: 7 3/4 inches tall X 5 inches wide; 19.7 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: One has a significant area of repair to the foot and a chip to the rim, the other has a hairline crack to the base.

Provenance: From Mr. Lebeouf in Southern California; the piece is a family heirloom.
