Pair of Chippendale carved mahogany ribbon-back armchairs, late 18th century.

Condition Report: both chairs with repairs to left-facing arms, one repinned at front of arm and the other with later metal support bracket to left side edge; both chairs with patches/repairs at the top of front and sides of front legs; slight split to back of arm of one, and the other with evidence of possible repinning of arms to stiles; newer upholstery, which appears clean overall with only minor signs of use.
