Pair of Continental Polychromed and Gilt Tole Wall Brackets, 19th c., the rectangular tops with clipped corners, supported by gilt acanthus leaves, with bound reeded verde standards, foliate base and pendant, H.- 52 in., W.- 18 1/2 in., D.- 11 in. (2 Pcs.)
Condition Report: Structurally sound. One of the pair’s top frame lacking confirmation. There is scattered gilt loss, scattered gilt repair, scattered paint finish loss and touch- up. Scattered patination. Overall chips nicks, marks, abrasions and imperfections. All consistent with age and use.
