Pair of French Belle Epoque Plaques of Artemis and Britomartis
fourth quarter 19th century, gilt-copper electrotypes backed with resin, the plaque of Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, with her bow and arrow aimed at a deer, and the plaque of Britomartis, the goddess of fishing and hunting, with a net of fish against a ground of sea creatures, both now in contemporary giltwood frames, marked "Geschutz" and "Depose", indicating where the designs were patented.

Provenance: Estate of Norma Crawford Myers, Dallas, Texas.
Condition Report: Both in very good condition with copious rich, crisp detail with a few areas of faint rubbing. One with several small areas of bright green oxidation.
The "Diana" plaque also impressed "LB" in script.
The frames with mocha velvet liners.
